This bundle puts a full salad bar right in your backyard. Cool-season crops like lettuce, arugula, spinach, and radishes go in early spring and again in fall.
Warm-season additions like tomatoes, cucumbers, corn, and peppers follow after your last frost for summer salad season.
☀️ Sun Requirements
Salad greens are the most flexible crops in this bundle and they grow well in 4–6 hours of sun. Greens benefit from some afternoon shade in warm months.
Tomatoes, corn, and peppers need 6–8 hours of full sun for strong production.
💧 Watering
Consistent moisture keeps salad greens tender and mild. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry.
In warm weather, greens may need watering every 1–2 days.
Mulching helps retain moisture and keeps roots cool.
